The Federal Circuit Bar Association offers several different types of memberships. Select the one that is appropriate for you: (Upon selecting the membership category, you will be prompted to sign in. If you do not have a profile on the site already, there will be a link to create one before continuing on to the membership form itself.)
Please note that all FCBA memberships, excepting Leaders Circle sponsored members, are on a fiscal year of July 1 through June 30; members who join during a given membership cycle will receive benefits through the following June 30. The FCBA does not pro-rate membership dues.
Members joining through an Annual Sponsorship, either Leaders Circle Sponsorship or Global Series Annual Sponsorship, receive the remainder of the calendar year they join plus the first six months of the following year, thus their sponsored membership renews on Jul 1 of the following year. Example, 2022 Leaders Circle Sponsored membership are valid through Jun 30, 2023, with renew automatically on Jul 1, 2023. The renewing members will receive a renewal for the membership in May 2023 which is then due on Jul 1, 2023.
Individual Membership Pricing
Regular ($300)
Open to members in good standing
of the bar of the Federal Circuit.
Small Firm ($150)
Open to attorneys who meet the
requirements of Regular/Associate
membership, at firms with fewer than
25 attorneys.
Retired ($75)
Open to individuals who, at one
time, met the requirements above,
but now earn less than 50% of their
income from the practice of law.
Associate ($300)
Open to members in good standing
of the bar of the highest court of the
state of their admission to the bar.
Government ($75)
Open to individuals who meet the
requirements of Regular/Associate
membership and are employed by
a local, state, or federal government
agency.
Students (Free of Charge)
Open to individuals enrolled in an
accredited law school.
Young Lawyer ($150)
Open to attorneys who meet the
requirements of Regular/Associate
membership, and are under the age
of 35.
Educator ($75)
Open to educators who are full-time
faculty members of an accredited
educational body.
Law Clerks (Free of Charge)
Open to active law clerks at the Circuit
or tribunals within its jurisdictional
umbrella (clerks are asked to coordinate
with their judges or judicial officers
beforehand).
