The Federal Circuit Bar Association offers several different types of memberships. Select the one that is appropriate for you: (Upon selecting the membership category, you will be prompted to sign in. Private Practice Membership Categories
Regular Membership ($250). Regular memberships are open to members in good standing of the bar of the Federal Circuit. Become or Renew as a Regular/Associate Member today.
Associate Membership ($250). Associate memberships are open to attorneys who are not members of the bar of the
Federal Circuit but who are members in good standing of the bar of the
highest court of the state of their admission to the bar and who profess
an interest in the subject matter jurisdiction of the Federal Circuit. Become or Renew as an Associate Member today.
Young Lawyer Membership ($150). Young Lawyer memberships are open to attorneys who meet the requirements of Regular/Associate membership and are under the age of 35. Become or Renew as a Young Lawyer Member today.
Small Firm Membership ($150). Small Firm memberships are open
to attorneys who meet the requirements of Regular/Associate membership and practice at a law firm with fewer than 25 attorneys. Become or Renew as a Small Firm Member today.
Other Membership Categories
Government Membership ($75). Government memberships are open to individuals who meet the requirements of Regular/Associate membership who are employed by local, state, or federal government agencies. Become or Renew as a Government Member today.
Educator Membership ($75). Educator memberships are open to educators who are full-time faculty members of an accredited educational body. Become or Renew as an Educator Member today.
Retired Membership ($75). Retired memberships are open to individuals who, at one time, met the requirements of the above sections, but who presently earn less than fifty percent of their income from the practice of law and who have never been disbarred or resigned from the bar of the highest court of a state as a result of an actual or potential disciplinary proceeding. Become or Renew as a Retired Member today.
Student Membership. Student memberships are open to individuals enrolled in an accredited law school. Become a Student Member today.
Law Clerk Membership. The Association also extends courtesy memberships to law clerks in active status on either the Circuit or the tribunals within its jurisdictional umbrella. Of course, law clerks are asked to coordinate with their judges or other judicial officers before pursuing these memberships with the Association. Become a Law Clerk Member today.
Termination of Membership. The membership of a member shall automatically be terminated upon the member's resignation from, or default payment of dues to, this Association or upon the disbarment or suspension of a member by a court of the United States or of any state, territory, or possession of the United States, or, in the case of student membership, upon completion or termination of the member's law school studies. A member's interest in the property of this Association shall terminate automatically with termination of membership.
